Coronation Celebration

We will be having an afternoon at Betteshanger Campsite as a District to celebrate King Charles' Coronation.   All young people, parents and leaders are welcome.    Please wear activity clothing and your unit necker.  

There will be activities for all including making bird boxes to put up around the site, making 2 bug palaces and some traditional games, ending with a gathering around the campfire.   There will also be a specially commissioned branding iron for you to make your own coronation souvenir.   

You can bring your own drinks and snacks but our district Scout Active Support team will be selling refreshments and hotdogs.   

Coronation competition  -  take along a picture/collage/model/cake that you have made with a coronation theme.  Prizes for each section.   

We have been asked to provide something as a unit to put into a Time Capsule so think about it and let us know your ideas.
